Chicken salad with avocado cream sauce and salty granola
A wealth of delicious flavors in a special salad!

Chicken salad can also be a special recipe if you have extra ingredients. For example, instead of a plain salad dressing, you can use avocado cream. It’s worth seasoning the chicken with spicy spices. How about a Kentucky spice mix? A little extra crunchy texture goes well with fresh salad leaves. Try this homemade savory granola recipe, which is basically a mixture of baked oats and seeds. Just a simple salad, right? Not really. It’s full of special flavors. Give it a try!
Ingredients (1 serving)
- 1 large handful of mixed salad leaves
- 1/2 California bell pepper
- 1 serving of homemade avocado cream
- 1 serving of Kentucky spicy chicken breast strips, fried (recipe here)
- 1-2 tablespoons of salty granola
Preparation
- Clean the chicken breast and cut it into strips. Pour the oil into a mixing bowl, add the spice mix and stir thoroughly. Add the chicken breast strips. Toss them in the mixture and leave to stand for 5-10 minutes. Then fry in a hot pan until golden brown.
- Prepare the avocado cream and the salty granola.
- Arrange the salad mixture on a plate. Add the bell pepper strips. Add the fried chicken breast strips.
- Sprinkle with salted granola.
- Drizzle with avocado cream.
- Eat immediately.
Tip: You can also make it into a takeaway meal. In this case, pack all the ingredients separately. Heat up the chicken breast and add it to the salad.
