Földi Rita életmódblogger

I’m so happy you’re here!

Welcome to my blog!

I’m Rita Földi, the creator of Meal Blogger.
II’m a food blogger based in Hungary with a big love for Hungarian comfort food and sunny Mediterranean flavors. I started cooking as a kid alongside my grandma, later completed a chef’s course, and have been blogging since 2013.

Often, we only have 30 minutes to throw something together, and it matters that it’s healthy too. Sometimes you might barely have anything in the fridge. That’s when you need to pull out your best tricks and make the most of your creativity. As a trained chef with never-ending enthusiasm for cooking, I’ll help you always know what to cook.

I’ll show you how to cook in a healthy and delicious way. My goal is not only for you to learn, but to truly fall in love with cooking, because cooking is a wonderful thing – it’s a way of giving love.

Principles

  • Who is the blog for?
My recipes and content are intended for generally healthy individuals as part of a preventive lifestyle. If you have a medical condition, please consult a doctor. (Disclaimer)
  • I do not use AI-generated photos for my recipes.
Home-cooked dishes, styled and photographed by me. No AI, just food and daylight.
  • Advertisements: I don’t overload my pages with ads so the content stays easy to read.
  • There is no media company or agency behind this blog. I do everything on my own, as a hobby and with passion.
  • What is considered healthy?
Nothing is inherently healthy or unhealthy. Quantity is what matters. Water is healthy, but drinking 5 liters in one sitting can be harmful. The same applies to many foods: even fiber, while healthy, can cause problems in excessive amounts. What matters is not only what we eat, but also how much we eat. A varied diet in balanced portions is key.
  • What kind of flour do I use?
All-purpose white flour (mainly for thickening), whole wheat flour (for larger quantities), or oat flour (for baking).
  • What do I use for sweetening?
In my sugar-free recipes, I use xylitol or erythritol. I also use granulated sugar or honey depending on the recipe.
