Relaxation
Relaxation time – at last, chill out!

There are many different forms of relaxation. Each of them helps with stress management. Stress is the biggest enemy of a healthy lifestyle. That’s why it’s important to learn how to unwind.
Unwind. Easy to say, but unfortunately not so easy to stick to. It can be easier if you understand what kind of relaxation you need and when. A long sleep doesn’t help in every case. You might actually need mental relaxation.
Mental relaxation isn’t about going on a luxury vacation once a year after a big grind. It can help you disconnect from everyday troubles, but it’s not enough on its own to truly set you straight mentally. When you can’t switch your brain off because it’s always spinning on something, that’s when you need mental relaxation the most. Mindfulness techniques, meditation, journaling, and coaches can help – and you can also read self-improvement books. Exercise can be a big help too, though not in every case. Look into what works best for you!
Mental rest is just one of the seven types of rest – look into the others as well!
