Ingredients

For the Honeyed Apples

  • 1 apple (160 g)
  • 1 tablespoon (20 g) acacia honey (from a local producer)
  • A pinch of ground cinnamon

For the Cream

  • 250 g light mascarpone
  • 2 tablespoons (40 g) acacia honey (from a local producer)
  • 1 teaspoon vanilla extract
  • 1½ tablespoons creamy plain yogurt

For Topping

  • 70 g fall granola

Instructions

  • Prepare the autumn granola first. You can find the recipe here.
  • Peel the apple, remove the core, and cut it into small cubes. Place the apple pieces into a small saucepan. Add 1 tablespoon of honey and a pinch of ground cinnamon, then gently sauté until softened.
  • Place the mascarpone into a mixing bowl. Add 2 tablespoons of honey, the vanilla extract, and the creamy yogurt. Mix thoroughly until smooth.
  • Take three serving glasses. Sprinkle 1 tablespoon of granola into the bottom of each glass.
Add the next layer: the sautéed apples. Use only half of the apples at this stage, as there will be another layer later.
Spoon the mascarpone cream over the apples.
Smooth the surface slightly, then add the remaining apples on top.
Finish by sprinkling the remaining granola over the dessert cups.
  • Serve and enjoy while still warm.
