Ingredients

  • 500 g ground pork (7% fat)
  • 200 g durum chifferini (dried pasta)
  • 1 onion
  • 2 cloves garlic
  • 1 tablespoon olive oil
  • 120 g celery stalk
  • 140 ml cooking cream (22%)
  • cream cheese
  • salt
  • ground black pepper
  • dried, crumbled basil

For topping

  • 30 g Parmesan cheese

Instructions

  • Cook the pasta in salted water until al dente. Reserve about one cup of the cooking water.
  • Finely chop the onion and sauté it in olive oil until softened.
  • Add the ground meat. Season with salt and pepper.
  • Add the sliced celery and sauté it together with the meat.
  • Once nicely browned, pour in the reserved pasta cooking water and stir well.
  • Add the cooking cream and cream cheese. Season with basil and add the crushed garlic. Let it simmer briefly.
  • Stir in the cooked pasta.
  • Serve warm, sprinkled with grated Parmesan cheese.
